Golden Sunset Family Photos| Stillwater, MN

It was beyond fun to capture these sweet family photos, and we were given the most beautiful golden sunset for it! One thing I will never take for granted is being let into people’s lives to tell their story. From their engagement and wedding, to now being a family of FIVE, this little family is so incredibly special to me. And there’s something so amazingly fun about watching your past brides and grooms as parents. The personalities of them that their littles ones have “inherited” are always THE BEST!! And these three especially so! 💛

I love that they chose colors that complimented well with the fall season and setting. And at the same time the children were comfortable. It’s difficult for kids to be in outfits that aren’t comfortable, and to look happy at the same time, lol. But these little ones were adorably dressed and could run through the field and play and have fun as well.

My family sessions aren’t about the “proper posing”. They’re more about having fun with each other and capturing this time in your life because it flies by way too quickly. From setting like this field to others like Come Park, I choose settings where the family can relax and be themselves. I want them all to look back at these photos years from now and remember it as being full of giggles and playing with each other. And actaully not just photos, but really happy memories 💛
