Romantic Proposal in Downtown Stillwater

I’ve been honored to capture many proposals, and each one has been unique because of the couple, the moments and the emotions they go through. It is such a fun, and beautiful moment. Baley and Isabel’s romantic proposal, in downtown Stillwater, was beyond amazing! Baley took Isabel to several spots, throughout the day, that had meaning in their relationship. Then he ended their walk down memory lane at The Dock Stillwater, where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. And of course, she said YES! From the couple, to the location to the weather…everything was absolutely gorgeous! But my favorite part of the day was when I invited them to come back to “my studio” for some more photos. Isabel had no idea that Baley and their parents had organized an incredible surprise party to celebrate their engagement. The look on her face when we got off the elevator, in what she thought was going to be a studio, was something I will never forget! Baley pulled off the most amazing proposal weekend, and I’m pretty sure Isabel is still on cloud 9! Every time she looked around she saw someone else she loved. There were so many hugs and tears.

Once everyone had a drink in hand, Isabel’s Dad gave a beautiful toast. There were more tears, more hugs and I’m sure they enjoyed the celebration well into the night! It was definitely the most romantic proposal that Isabel could have ever dreamt of. And I have no doubt their wedding day, and life in general, will be the same.
