I'm Julie! I've been married to my best friend for 30 years, wow! I'm also the mama of 3 (+1 amazing son in law) and Gigi to 2 adorable little boys that I am forever obsessed with.  And can't forget our sweet aussie doodle, Maisy and now our lovable goldendoodle, Whitaker, that we just adopted in November.

My favorite things are traveling, country music, mixed in with a little classic rock, and a good Bloody Mary with all the fixings.  In my free time you can usually find me spending time with my family, road tripping to some of my favorite states like Utah and Arizona or playing games, reading and doing puzzles.

My Approach

I want you to feel that it wasn't only a photo session, but it was actually a really fun time with people you love. If I had lots of money, I'd still do my job. I love it THAT much! And don't be surprised if you hear me giving little squeals of delight or doubled over laughing when we're having fun. Because that's what life is all about, enjoying every moment to the fullest.

To be completely honest, I'm not like all the rest.

"Life is short, so make the most of it." Through the years I have learned that this phrase is overwhelmingly true. Deciding to quit teaching and start my photography business 12 years ago was so scary. What if it didn't work? What if I failed??? Thankfully I had an amazing husband who convinced me to go for it! Life is short, and you'll never know if you don't try. So live in the moment, take chances, and don't be afraid of failure.
