Brand Photography for Food Bloggers | Kathleen’s Cravings

Brand photography for food bloggers is about more than beautiful photos. It’s about creating a visual library that supports your recipes, blog posts, and social media content. I recently had the pleasure of doing a brand photography session for Kathleen, the creator behind Kathleen’s Cravings. During our shoot, we focused on capturing a mix of lifestyle images, behind-the-scenes cooking moments, and personal brand portraits that she can use across her website, blog, social platforms and an exciting new project she has planned for later this year.

If you’re a food blogger, you need more than just recipe photos. You need personal brand images, lifestyle content and behind-the-scenes visuals. Without all three of these, you won’t connect with your audience. And that should be a key goal for brand photography for food bloggers.

Kathleen and I started with a questionnaire so I could learn everything I could about her and her business. From there, we decided on 3 different settings for her session (2 kitchens plus my studio). We incorporated her brand colors in her wardrobe styling (including the cute new apron she found 😊)and then created a shot list and inspo pics that kept us on task getting the shots that she needed.
