I recently had someone ask me what my favorite thing to photograph is. I couldn’t decide but last night, as I was hiding behind a bush at the bottom of the Cathedral stairs, I definitely would have said proposals!
Matthew emailed me a few weeks ago and said he wanted to propose to Jenna, his girlfriend of 8 years. He had chosen the St. Paul Cathedral and had made dinner reservations on the patio at WA Frost for afterwards. It was an absolutely perfect evening, and as I saw “the guy in the navy shirt” as Matthew had described himself, walking on the sidewalk, I swear I could hear his heart thumping from where I crouched.
Jenna was completely surprised and thought they were looking for a certain statue that had been defaced (good one Matthew!). The ring is stunning, but it paled in comparison to Jenna. Seriously adorable couple! We had a lot of fun walking around the neighborhood afterwards. I could not be happier for you two, Jenna and Matthew! Great job planning Matthew. Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs! XOXO, Julie
