Senior Reps | Class of 2017 | Styled Shoot | Part 1

Ahhhhh!  I can’t even explain how excited I was for this shoot!  A lot of planning goes into this and to be honest, I already have ideas floating around in my mind for next year’s! But this year’s senior rep shoot didn’t come without a little bit of stress.  First there’s the hope and expectation that it will be as fun as the previous year’s.  And then there was the weather forecast.  For the 3 days prior to this, the forecast was “rainiest day of the week”, “thunderstorms and showers”, “don’t plan to be outside”.  Really??!!!!  Trying to find a day that fit with my schedule, the fabulous hair and makeup artists, and 8 very busy teenage girls with jobs, sports, community volunteering and lots of other activities, was not an easy task.  I waited until the morning of, to make the final call and decided to go for it, followed by several text replies from the girls that they were SO excited and couldn’t wait.  With fingers crossed and lots of prayers, the girls started arriving at 11:30am, we finished hair and makeup by 3 and headed out the door to beat the potential rain.

These photos are from our first location, which had a “tulle and sparkle” theme.  When I told the girls a few weeks ago that they would be wearing tulle skirts, they probably thought I was a little crazy.  But they were so willing to trust me, and go with any outfit I picked out for them….I really couldn’t love these girls more!  Huge thanks to Jessica and Jen from Revive Salon and Spa. Not only did they do an amazing job with the girl’s hair and makeup, they’re so dang fun to hang out with and the girls really enjoyed them a lot!  Also thank you to my wonderful assistant for the day, Sarah, who was one of my senior reps from last year.  It was fun to have someone with who had been through it the previous year and was willing to help out in any way I needed!  And most importantly, thank you to Kristen, Kallie, Erica, Hayley, Paige, Sami, Maggie and Molly.  You girls are such a blessing to me.  Your trust, willingness, sense of humors, amazing personalities and your downright gorgeousness absolutely blew my mind!  Love you all tons!
