Class of 2016 | Cap and Gown | St. Paul, MN

Sometimes I get these really random ideas because I basically can’t get enough of my amazing clients!  So one day I starting thinking how fun it would be to do a “Cap and Gown” shoot with some of my seniors from the Class of 2016.  I had 49 seniors in the past year and emailed each of them hoping to maybe get 10 that would want to do this.  Well, I had way more than that respond back!  The feedback was so incredibly heartwarming!  We really only had one weekend to make this work with my schedule and also timing it between when the seniors received their caps and gowns and when they graduated.  Thankfully the day was absolutely gorgeous last weekend and 27 seniors were able to make it!!!  You guys, this was SO MUCH FUN!!!  First of all I got to see my amazing seniors again and give them a hug and wish them the best as they head off to conquer the world!  And to see how much fun they had with this, and how much fun they had with each other since many of them had never met!  It’s just all the more proof of what incredible individuals they each are.  I definitely hope this was the first of many years of doing this shoot with my graduating classes!  To my seniors, I just want you to know that each one of you had such an impact on me.  I know the purpose of your senior portrait session is to get great portraits, but it’s so much more than that to me.  I hope each of you had so much fun and that it’s not just the pictures that you love, but also the memory of your session.  I know you are all going to do amazing things in your future.  Be smart.  Be safe.  And call home often!  One of these seniors is mine and I can speak from experience that your parents are going to miss you immensely, but we’re so excited to see you fly!!  XOXO
