Summer Vineyard Wedding at 7 Vines

Michael and Nicole first met their freshman year of college while on a trip to the Boundary Waters. Nicole told me they were both cliff jumping when they met and she later found out Michael is deathly afraid of heights, but wanted to impress her! I’m not sure it was the cliff jumping that did it, but these two are so meant for each other that it was inevitable. And their summer vineyard wedding was such a reflection of them and their love for each other.

Nicole and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done by Sabrina Kraus and her team from Primped, while relaxing in the beautiful bridal suite at the Hotel Crosby. They then met the rest of the wedding party at 7 Vines Vineyard where the ceremony and reception would take place. Always such a gorgeous venue! Lorah and her staff go above and beyond. And the ceremony pergola, outdoor patio and the reception area are so gorgeous! Not to mention the wonderful wine, of course.

Some of my favorite details of their day were Michael’s ring (custom made to reflect his love for the Northwoods), Nicole’s bridal robe (a gift from her mom, made from her gramma’s wedding dress), the flowers (Laurie from Flore Inspired did an amazing job!), the food (Lake Elmo Inn was so good! Might be my favorite wedding meal yet! And bonus, I actually had time to eat it! Ha!) and last, but most important, the people. If I ever doubt that my brides and grooms are amazing, all I have to do is look at the people that surround them. Nicole and Michael’s family and friends were so sweet, kind and funny (such great speeches!). It truly was an incredible summer vineyard wedding celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Kelly.
