Patrick and Sara | December Wedding at McNamara Alumni Center

It was an amazing December day for Sara and Patrick’s wedding and these two deserved it after all of the changes that 2020 brought. I believe this was plan D as Sara’s mom mentioned in her toast. But while the guest list was dramatically cut, the venue changed and many tears were shed during the process, it all came down to Sara and Patrick being determined to be married.

Sara is the sweetest, kindest soul but also very strong and competitive, which explains why she was such a successful pitcher for the University of Minnesota and also the first player from Minnesota to play for National Pro Fastpitch league. Patrick is tall. Like 6’8″ tall! That’s the first thing you notice about him of course. But I quickly learned after meeting him that he has the best sense of humor and while he’s competitive as well, he is also so much fun to be around. And the guy can tear up a dance floor like no one I have ever seen!

From the getting ready moments at the stunning Graduate Hotel to Sara’s “first catch and pitch” and special handshake with her Dad and then their beautiful ceremony at McNamara Alumni Center, the day was SO romantic! Congratulations Sara and Patrick! XOXO.
