Sean and William | Northland Arboretum | A Brainerd Wedding

It all started with a slightly awkward blind date.  William and Sean were set up at a brunch with a couple of their siblings and their friend Ali.  They hardly spoke a word to each other!  But after that “date”, William went home and “friend requested” Sean on Facebook and the rest is pretty much history!

While Sean and William live in Tulsa, OK, their families live mostly in different areas of Minnesota.  So they decided to get married in the Brainerd area.  Now just imagine, a northwoods wedding, in the summer, with 2 amazing families.  One having 5 sons and the other having 5 daughters.  And the middle child in each family is marrying the other. This was a beautifully awesome wedding, with a crazy fun wedding party!

Sean had found the most incredible dress for her wedding day.  The BHDLN gown from Anthropologie was an absolute perfect match for the bohemian theme she envisioned. And the floral crowns the girls all wore were handmade by each of them.  The bridesmaids were stunning as their pink and floral dresses were blowing in the light breeze, while the groom and groomsmen were all very handsome in their sapphire blue suits.  The mother of the bride had handpicked the wildflowers for the bouquets and there were seed packets as guest favors.  The sisters did each other’s hair and makeup, just like they had been doing for years for school dances, dates and proms. Honestly, Sean and William, with the help of their families, had thought of everything to make this day perfect.  And that it was.
