Ali and Ben | JX Event Venue | A Stillwater Wedding

These two have a very special place in my heart.  I’ve known Ali since she was in kindergarten.  And I love her like she’s one of my own, so it’s not surprising that most of the day was shot with more than the usual amount of tears in my eyes.

Ali met Ben about 4 1/2 years ago and couldn’t stop talking about how handsome he was.  She met his beautiful daughter shortly after that and fell even more in love.  Their day was filled with so many personal touches.  Ali’s mom wrote her a beautiful book of letters to read.  Ali wore a garter that was made from her grandma’s handkerchief and a rosary of her grandfather’s that she wore around her bouquet.  And just a short time ago, Ben lost one of his best friends to lymphoma.  Ben said he would have been one of his groomsmen so in memory of Zach, Ben and his groomsmen all wore tie clips with Zach’s initials on it.

It was a beautiful day and Stillwater was the perfect location for these two.  From the elegance and glamour of the JX Event Venue, to the tulle covered flower girls and the ring bearers in their suspenders…the day could not have been more stunning!  Ali and Ben, you both mean the world to me.  And I hope this is only the beginning of many, many years of romantic and love filled days!  XOXO
