Some things are just meant to be. Jack and Ashley are one of them. What started as a crush before freshman year in high school, turned into ten years of dating and then an absolutely beautiful Fall wedding. I am such a sap for a good love story, and theirs is definitely one of the best. Both of them could hardly contain their emotions before seeing each other. I absolutely love that moment before a first look, when the bride and groom are so full of excitement and anxiety they’re ready to burst!
Every little detail was absolutely stunning this day. From the bridal details to the venue, nothing was missed. And on October 22nd, in Minnesota, it isn’t always 62 and sunny! The flower girl, the ring bearers, a cameo by Axel and Mayda, the wedding party and families, the food (oh my gosh, I have never had mac n’ cheese that was this amazing!), I could go on and on about every last detail. But the best part, was Jack and Ashley. I could not love a bride and groom more.
As Pastor Mike said in his sermon, today is the day you will look back on many years from now and realize this is the day you loved each other least. You’ve proven over the years that your love for each other only continues to deepen. And I wish for you many, many more decades of love and happiness. XOXO
