Mike and Sara | 7 Vines Vineyard and Winery | Dellwood Wedding

Mike and Sara were so awesome at relaxing and enjoying their day despite the forecast.  They even endured a little mist and a few raindrops to get some beautiful photos at their gorgeous venue, the 7 Vines Vineyard and Winery in Dellwood, MN.  And patience paid off because the sun made an appearance for a couple brief minutes at the end of the day!

Sara and Mike first met through an app called Coffee Meets Bagel and had their first date at George and the Dragon.  They enjoyed getting to know each other including learning that Sara likes the Packers, while Mike likes the Vikings!  He felt she was very easy to talk to and Sara felt he was very genuine.  It didn’t take long before they both realized they didn’t want to be without each other.  Two years later, this past New Year’s Eve, Mike proposed with Sara’s grandma’s ring.  Sara was very close with her grandparents and to hear their love story is so amazing.  Her grandma owned a tavern and met grandpa while he was on leave from the military.  They fell in love and married a week later!  And they adored each other for over 50 years.  Now the love story will continue as Sara wears her ring.

Along with the ring, on her wedding day, Sara also wore her mom’s necklace as a bracelet and her grandma’s pearl necklace.  And she had the most beautiful lace wedding gown from BHLDN with a satin underlay.  She was absolutely stunning and the way Mike looked at her was enough to make you melt.  Mike and Sara had thought of everything including sending each family home with a bottle of wine from the vineyard.  If you haven’t been to 7 Vines yet, get there!  Fabulous staff, beautiful atmosphere and the wines are amazing!
