Jordan and Brittany | A Stillwater Wedding | Stoneridge Golf Course

This wedding was beyond special to me for so many reasons.  First of all, I simply adore Brittany and Jordan!  I first met Brittany 6 years ago when she was in high school, and our families vacationed together in Mexico.  Her aunt and uncle are very good friends of mine.  This was probably right around the time that Jordan had asked her to their junior prom as one of their first dates.  A couple months after that, Brittany’s cousin asked me to do her wedding.  I had never, ever photographed a wedding before!  I was a preschool teacher who liked to take pictures and dreamed of someday being a photographer.  As I looked around during Britt and Jordan’s wedding, I realized I had 4 brides and grooms at this wedding including Britt’s sister a couple years ago.  To say this family means the world to me would be an understatement.  And I quickly learned that Jordan’s family is just as amazing.  So combining these two is a perfect match.  They both have a great sense of humor and listening to the speeches was an indicator of where they get that from!  Definitely some of the best speeches I have heard.  Whether it’s their devotion to their families or their competitive and fun spirited personalities, I really couldn’t love these two more!

The forecast for their day was not the most promising, with a steady rain to be expected.  So I had packed up the car with a dozen umbrellas.  Britt was so amazing at trusting me and not being scared off by a few puddles.  And I absolutely love how their pictures turned out because of this!  The ladies were all so stunning in shades of lavender, and the flowers that had been done by the groom’s godmother were gorgeous!!  The men looked equally handsome and it was obvious a little rain wasn’t going to put any damper on this group!  Stoneridge Golf Course did an amazing job in every way.  From the staff in the pro shop who were quick to help in any way, and the golf cart drivers who were ready to whisk us off for photos after the ceremony, to the food and ambiance, everything was beyond perfect.  And a definite hit to the day was the choreographed dance that the father of the bride did with Britt and her ladies!

Jordan and Britt – There are no words to describe how I feel for you two and your families!  So much love for all of you!  You are truly surrounded by amazing people in your lives and I wish you many, many years of love and laughs!!  XOXO
