Most times I get to spend a lot of time getting to know my brides and grooms during the planning process and engagement session. But I’ve had a couple weddings this year that were planned during shorter time spans, Toni and Jeff being one of them. And without doing an engagement session, I ended up meeting Jeff for the first time and Toni for the second time on their wedding day. To hear about their love story made me melt! They’ve known each other since grade school, dated in middle school until Jeff broke up with her (she reminds him of that ????) and then apparently there’s varying stories about how Prom went down. ???? They each went separate ways for several years and somehow found themselves back together a few years ago. After seeing them together, I can’t imagine they belong anywhere else. When they decided to get married, they didn’t want a lot of attention and gifts. So they decided to surprise their friends with an invitation to a “backyard bbq” over Labor Day Weekend. Their closest friends and family, along with some great food and dancing in their backyard was all they wanted. And it couldn’t have been a more perfect day! Toni and Jeff, you two are amazing, and I’m so thankful to have been a part of your day! Cheers to many, many years of laughter! XOXO
